GARDENING

The third workshop of the Perforating the City series will examine how urban social permeability is addressed and/or facilitated through spatial practices of urban gardening, including, but not limited to, community gardening, urban agriculture, food forest, and guerrilla gardening. By social permeability, we are interested in encounters and relational connections between strangers and actors of different social backgrounds. The workshop will bring together invited professionals/specialists from different locations and disciplines to share their work and reflections. They will be joined by additional discussants to enrich the conversation.
