Yun Hye Hwang is an accredited landscape architect and Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore. Her work explores the intersection of ecological design, research, and policy to shape sustainable futures for the more-than-human city. She actively collaborates with key partners in dense urban environments—from government agencies like NParks and HDB to community organizations like the Nature Society Singapore—to co-develop planning frameworks rooted in ecological resilience and shared benefit.

Bjorn Low is an urban farmer, social entrepreneur, and co-founder of Edible Garden City, a Singapore-based social enterprise advancing urban agriculture and regenerative food systems. He transforms underutilised urban spaces into productive landscapes that support community resilience, food security, and ecological regeneration. Bjorn’s work integrates urban food sovereignty, care farming, and landscape-based wellbeing into dense city environments. Trained in organic and biodynamic agriculture after an earlier career in business and digital strategy, he also teaches urban food systems and contributes to research on regenerative urban landscapes. His practice bridges farming, design, and social impact to reconnect cities with food production.

Jayde Lin Roberts

Jayde Lin Roberts, Visiting Associate Professor in DoA, NUS, is an interdisciplinary scholar who combines spatial and historical analysis with ethnographic research and participatory methods to examine heritage-making, urban informality, and the effects of transnational networks. She was a Fulbright US Scholar in Yangon, Myanmar (2016-2018) during which she led community-based research and design in Yangon and Mandalay. Her monograph Mapping Chinese Rangoon: Place and Nation among the Sino-Burmese is the first English language book about Yangon’s Chinatown and its resident Sino-Burmese, and she has published in journals such as the International Journal of Heritage Studies and Critical Asian Studies.
